Standards Based Grading

Essential Question: 

How does the early implementation of standards-based grading affect the quality and/or type of student output?

Top 3 Goals:

1. We will create student friendly learning targets and both formative and summative assessments for the beginning unit(s) of second semester. This includes finding/creating a graphic organizer to use as teachers and students as a means of tracking student data, progress and learning.

2. We will read 15 Fixes for Broken Grades by Ken O’Connor as a reference/guide to our work. We will follow a protocol for book study given to us by Norma.

3. We will check in with each other using student work and collaboratively reflect on the results.
